Dry Point Tools & Scribes

Are made with high carbon tool steel and are made to be resharpened.
Scribes are available in different styles. Wood handle, cork handle double pointed, and solid steel. We also have a diamond point scribe.

These tools are very effective and flexible in creating a linear burr in adding detail or tone to the medium. The line is created as the dry point or needle scribe is dragged or drawn over the plate. When printed the line has a blurred effect.
